About our Mission
Mahaba is more than just a café. It is a social enterprise that creates a safe and inclusive space for young people with learning difficulties & autism to learn and grow.
In London, roughly one in seven adults has a hidden disability, while in Ealing, a staggering 97.8% of adults with learning disabilities are unemployed. This disparity highlights the need for change and greater inclusion in the workforce.
Not only does Mahaba café support neurodivergent people to develop workplace skills, we celebrate diversity through our everyday interactions with the Ealing Community.
#EalingInclusionRevolution
Our Solution
Mahaba has forged strong connections with various SEN partners in Ealing. Additionally, we have garnered ample support from our community and have established trusted partnerships with local entities like Ealing Project and British Land.
Our post-trainee "feeder" scheme, also known as the Unlocking Employment Programme, guarantees that each graduate has an entry-level path into sustainable paid employment upon completion of their traineeship. We are committed to empowering our trainees and equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in the workforce.
